He said &#8220;No that is not true, we are tracking okay&#8221;.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">I also put it to him that he was struggling to pay vendors and that costs were blowing out, he said &#8220;We had some problems but that is under control&#8221;.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Neil Merola the then marketing director was even more blatant when asked about the problems that were emerging at Dick Smith.<\/p>\n<table style=\"\" align=\"Center\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"4\" cellspacing=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"530\" height=\"400\"><a href=\"javascript:;\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/news.smarthouse.com.au\/resources\/articleimages\/80wdtj81_embeded_image_5.jpg', 'foo', 'width=365 height=244, scrollbars=yes, resizable=yes');\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"530\" height=\"400\" src=\"http:\/\/news.smarthouse.com.au\/resources\/articleimages\/80wdtj81_embeded_image_5.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a><br \/>Click to enlarge<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"530\"><font size=\"2\"><span style=\"color:red;font-weight:bold;\">Marketing Manager at Dick Smith Neil Merola dismissed the suggestion of losses in October as &#8220;Bullshit&#8221;. &#8220;Who is feeding you this rubbish he said.<\/span><\/font><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\"><br \/><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n<div><font face=\"sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">When asked about falling profits and staff retrenchments he said &#8220;It&#8217;s all bullshit, who is feeding you this stuff.
