Adobe is bringing to Australia “Shoppable Video”, a cloud-based system that enables marketers to embed links to product information into specific portions of a video.<\/p>\n

Adobe said marketers can add the links to the video in a browser window using Adobe Experience Manager – Adobe’s content management system – and the enhanced videos can be viewed in any browser. When the video is viewed, images of the promoted products appear down the side and the viewer can click on these to be taken to an online shopping site, or simply one with more information.<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n

Loni Stark, a digital marketing senior director at Adobe, said the service enables non-technical people to add interactive capability to their videos. <\/span><\/font><\/div>\n

She noted its interest in a number of industries, including financial services – “imagine a video tutorial about retirement and being able to link to information about different products on offer. Travel and hospitality is another.”<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
