Panasonic Australia has announced two new cordless phone series, with its high end allowing users to make and receive phone calls during blackouts.

The 662 DECT series can still operate without mains power by simply placing the handset on the base and making use of the speakerphone. <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P>

The series consists of a single (KS-TG6621ALB) and twin (KX-TG6622ALB) handset pack, with each of them packing loads of features. <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P>

Panasonic’s Equaliser Optimisation technology works like a simplistic equaliser, allowing users to adjust bass and treble via the phone’s menu. <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P>

<\/TD><\/TR><\/TBODY><\/TABLE><\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P>

Other convenient features include Long Range Clear Sound error correction technology, an easy to read 1.8 inch LCD screen and an intuitive menu. <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P>

Panasonic have also announced new entry level cordless phones, with the 161 DECT series sporting a 50 number phonebook, LCD screen, caller ID and 15 hours of talk time. <\/FONT><\/FONT><\/P>
