TV reception is about to get a whole lot clearer with two of the country’s most serious antenna players joining together to supply optical broadband television and communications products for a market which is demanding sharper and clearer telephone and TV services.

Outer Sydney-based Matchmaster, a leading supplier of multi-format TV antennas, boasts a range of HD products to suit an array of households and TV systems, including the small form-factor proprietary ‘Squarial’ antenna designed to enable clear TV reception without causing the usual eyesore associated with bulky, rooftop antennas.

Pacific Broadband Networks (PBN), based in Victoria, has been for over ten years developing and manufacturing optical digital and RF broadband products including optical nodes for delivering VoIP, Ethernet and CATV services.

The company also supplies converged customer access networks, delivering a full range of communication services to residences and businesses. It is also one of the world’s leading suppliers of HFC and FTTx optical broadband products.

The partnership between the two companies will see Matchmaster able to supply a broader range of communications solutions, and allow them to enter the optical broadband market.
